     David Chapin was baptized on 4 January 1625 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. He was the son of Deacon Samuel Chapin and Cicely Penny. He married, at age 29, Lydia Crump on 29 August 1654 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Mass.. He died in August 1672 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Mass., at age 47.

     Hannah Bagg was born on 6 October 1695 in Westfield, Hampden Co., Mass.. She was the daughter of Daniel Bagg and Hannah Phelps.

     Josiah Chapin was baptized on 29 October 1637 in Berry Pomeroy, Devonshire, England. He was the son of Deacon Samuel Chapin and Cicely Penny. He married Mary King, daughter of John King and Dorothy (__?__). He died on 10 September 1726 in Mendon, Worcester, Mass., at age 88.

     Japhet Chapin was baptized on 15 October 1642 in Roxbury, Suffolk Co., Mass.. He was the son of Deacon Samuel Chapin and Cicely Penny. He married (1), at age 21, Abilenah Cooley, daughter of Samuel Cooley and Ann Prudden, on 22 July 1664 in Milford, New Haven Co., Conn.. He married (2), at age 68, Dorothy Root , of Enfield, on 31 May 1711. He died on 20 February 1711/12 in Springfield, Mass., at age 69.

     Abilenah Cooley was the daughter of Samuel Cooley and Ann Prudden. She married (1) Japhet Chapin, age 21, son of Deacon Samuel Chapin and Cicely Penny, on 22 July 1664 in Milford, New Haven Co., Conn.. She died on 17 November 1710.

     Dorothy Root married (1) Japhet Chapin, age 68, son of Deacon Samuel Chapin and Cicely Penny, on 31 May 1711; of Enfield. She married (2) Obadiah Miller, son of Obadiah Miller and Joan (__?__), circa 18 March 1721.

     Deacon John Hitchcock was born circa 1642 in Springfield, Mass.. He was the son of Luke Hitchcock and Elizabeth Gibbons. He married Hannah Chapin, age 21, daughter of Deacon Samuel Chapin and Cicely Penny, on 27 September 1666 in Springfield, Mass.. He died on 9 February 1711/12 in Springfield, Mass..

     Lyman M. Messenger was born in July 1820 in Granby, Hartford Co., Conn..¹ He was the son of Josephus Messenger and Betsey Day. He married, at age 26, Emily Russell, age 23 on 11 November 1846 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Conn.. He died after 1900 when he was living in Kansas City Missouri, without issue.

     Wilson Samuel Messenger was born on 14 July 1817 (age at death) in Granby, Hartford Co., Conn.. He was the son of Josephus Messenger and Betsey Day.      Lewis P. Myers married Lucy Ann Messenger, daughter of Josephus Messenger and Betsey Day, circa 1850. He died after 1855.
