     Verena Bachman was born in 1672. She married Jakob Graber, son of Moritz Graber and Barbara Lüthi. She died on 15 June 1746 in Bottenwil, Aargau, Switzerland.

     Moritz Graber was born possibly in Küngoldingen, Aargau, Switzerland. He married (1) Barbara Lüthi circa 1661.¹ He married (2) Maria Bachman circa 1678. He died circa 1705.
     

     Moritz Graber and his wife Barbara Lüthi may have originated in Küngoldingen (near Zofingen) but settled in the village of Uerkheim by 1666. After the death of Barbara about 1677 Moritz married as his second wife Maria Bachmann with whom he had 9 more children born between 1679-1699.
     Moritz Graber, then of Uerkheim, purchased a farm called "Siglisgraben" in 1680. The farm is located a little north east of Bottenwil in a little valley surrounded by forest. Moritz's son Jakob is the ancestor of all the Bottenwil Graber's. Although Bottenwil (including Siglisgraben) belonged to the parish of Schöftland, Moritz and his family remained attached to, and attended church in Uerkheim, where all his children were baptized.
     The Siglisgraben farm remained in possession of the family for a number of generations. Moritz's great grandson Kaspar Graber, who died in 1791, was raised on the farm and it's possible that the two Melchiors and Samuel the immigrant, great grandson of Kaspar, may have also been raised on the Siglisgraben farm


Bottenwil is a small town in the canton of Aargau with a population of 802 [2005] located about 30 miles East of Zurich and approximately the same distance South of the German border.

The canton is also industrially developed, particularly in the fields of electrical engineering, precision instruments, iron, steel and cement.

     Barbara Lüthi married Moritz Graber circa 1661.¹ She died between 1676 and 1678 in Bottenwil, Aargau, Switzerland.

     Maria Bachman married Moritz Graber circa 1678.

     Daniel Graber was born in 1696. He was the son of Moritz Graber and Maria Bachman. He married Maria Sager. He died in 1765 in Uerkheim, Aargau, Switzerland.

     Maria Sager married Daniel Graber, son of Moritz Graber and Maria Bachman.

     Moritz Graber was born circa 1664. He was the son of Moritz Graber and Barbara Lüthi. He married Anna Maria Erismann. He died in 1697.

     Anna Maria Erismann married Moritz Graber, son of Moritz Graber and Barbara Lüthi.

     Anna Graber was baptized in 1666. She was the daughter of Moritz Graber and Barbara Lüthi.

     Hans Jakob Graber was baptized in 1732 in Uerkheim, Aargau, Switzerland. He was the son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk. He married Elsbeth Äbi. He died on 19 October 1784 in Uerkheim, Aargau.

     Elsbeth Äbi was born in August 1742. She married Hans Jakob Graber, son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk. She died on 27 February 1806 at age 63.

     Wilhelm Graber was baptized in September 1741 in Uerkheim, Aargau, Switzerland. He was the son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk. He married Anna Maria Suter. He died on 10 May 1793 in Bottenwil, Aargau, Switzerland, at age 51.

     Anna Maria Suter married Wilhelm Graber, son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk.

     Hans Graber was baptized in September 1743 in Uerkheim, Aargau, Switzerland. He was the son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk. He married Barbara Peter. He died on 11 October 1804 in Bottenwil, Aargau, Switzerland, at age 61.

     Barbara Peter was born in December 1744. She married Hans Graber, son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk. She died on 17 January 1808 at age 63.

     Hans Rudolph Graber was baptized in August 1748 in Uerkheim, Aargau, Switzerland. He was the son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk. He married Barbara Müller.

     Barbara Müller married Hans Rudolph Graber, son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk.

     Melchior Graber was baptized in June 1750 in Uerkheim, Aargau, Switzerland. He was the son of Jakob Graber and Elizabeth Schenk. He married Maria Müller. He died on 28 May 1813 in Uerkheim, Aargau, at age 62.
