     Ebenezer Parsons was born on 17 November 1668. He was the son of Benjamin Parsons and Sarah Vore. He married, at age 21, Margaret Marshfield, age 19, daughter of Samuel Marshfield and Catharine Chapin, on 10 April 1690 in Springfield, Mass..

     John Chapin was baptized on 25 September 1566 in Totnes, Devonshire, England.¹ He was the son of Roger Chapin. He married, at age 23, Phillipe Easton, daughter of Henry Easton and Joan Clieffe, on 14 September 1590 in Paignton, Devonshire, England.² He was buried on 3 June 1600 in Paignton , at age 34.²
     

     John Chapin, of Paignton, is probably the same as the John who was baptized at Totnes in 1566. He died at the young age of 34 and his wife married, as her second husband, George Stone whose will was proven in January of 1616/17, whome she also outlived. The will of George Stone bequeathed to Phillipe and her son, Samuel Chapin, his "furnace and all the furniture thereunto belonging" and his "brassen crocke," and to Thomas Chapin, his wife's eldest son, the bedstead over the hall and the tableboard in the hall and the rest of his other "crockes".

     Phillipe Easton was born circa 1570 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Easton and Joan Clieffe. She married (1) John Chapin, age 23, son of Roger Chapin, on 14 September 1590 in Paignton, Devonshire.¹ She married (2) George Stone after 1601.² She died after 1616 in Paignton, Devonshire.¹

     Henry Penny was born in 1569 in Paignton, Devonshire, England.¹ He married Jane (__?__) on 10 June 1589 in St. Andrew, Plymouth, Devonshire, England. He died in 1630 in Paignton, Devonshire.²

     Many internet sites show dates for Henry's baptism, his marriage to Jane "Dabinott" and his burial in May of 1630. However, other than the IGI, I have seen no sources for these dates. We can be sure that his daughter Cicely is the same who married Deacon Samuel Chapin. In his will, Inventoried in May of 1630, Henry Penny, a baker, bequeathed to "Cicelly Chapin my daughter, my second great pan".

     Jane (__?__) was born in 1573 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She married Henry Penny on 10 June 1589 in St. Andrew, Plymouth, Devonshire, England. She died in 1637 in Paignton, Devonshire.

     Margaret Chapin was baptized on 16 November 1600 in Paignton, Devonshire, England, died the next month. She was the daughter of John Chapin and Phillipe Easton.

     Thomas Chapin was baptized on 8 March 1595/96 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. He was the son of John Chapin and Phillipe Easton. He married, at age 24, Bridgett Hannaford on 7 August 1620 in Paignton, Devonshire.

     Joane Chapin was baptized on 26 June 1591 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of John Chapin and Phillipe Easton. She married, at age 20, James Narracot on 9 July 1611 in Paignton, Devonshire.

     Katherine Penny was born on 30 September 1599 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__). She married, at age 32, Thomas Benet on 12 July 1632.

     Joane Penny was born in 1597 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__). She married Robert Barter.

     Allen Penny was born in 1595 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. He was the son of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__). He married Chrystian Fosse on 9 February 1623/24.

     Ellinor Penny was born on 15 January 1603/4 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__).

     Alice Penny was born on 20 March 1605/6 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__). She married, at age 24, George Adam on 7 February 1630/31.

     Susan Penny was born on 2 December 1608 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__). She married, at age 27, John Hilling on 22 December 1635.

     David Penny was born in 1610 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. He was the son of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__).

     William Penny was born in 1612 in Paignton, Devonshire, England. He was the son of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__).

     Chrystian Fosse married Allen Penny, son of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__), on 9 February 1623/24.

     Robert Barter married Joane Penny, daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__).

     Thomas Benet married Katherine Penny, age 32, daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__), on 12 July 1632.

     George Adam married Alice Penny, age 24, daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__), on 7 February 1630/31.

     John Hilling married Susan Penny, age 27, daughter of Henry Penny and Jane (__?__), on 22 December 1635.

     Roger Chapin was born before 1540.¹ He died before 9 December 1590.
     

     Roger Chapin was of Totnes, Co. Devon when he had a daughter baptized in 1560. His wife survived him and was living at Totnes on 9 September, 1590 when she was referred to as "widdo Chapinne" at the burial of their son Luke.

     Henry Easton was born circa 1542 in England. He married Joan Clieffe, daughter of John Clieffe, in Brixham, Devonshire, England.¹

     Joan Clieffe was born between 19 February 1550 and 1551 in Braunton, Devonshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Clieffe. She married Henry Easton in Brixham, Devonshire, England.¹
